Year book committee IB and STX
Are you someone who loves photography, writing, or getting creative with design? Then the Yearbook Club is calling your name! Next year, the club will be led by three passionate and organized girls who are excited to put together an amazing team to help create a yearbook that truly represents our school. We’re looking for students to help take photos at school events, design layouts, write content, create fun questionnaires, and edit photos to bring everything to life. The entire team will have a say in choosing the yearbook’s theme, and we’ll work together to plan how it all comes together—from the cover design to the final pages. Whether you’re great with a camera, have an eye for design, or just want to be part of a fun and creative group, there’s a spot for you. It’s a great way to get involved, meet new people, and help create something the whole school will remember. This club will give CAS hours / elevtimer

We are currently recruiting for the following roles: - Writers (4-5): If you have a flair for writing and enjoy staying up-to-date with school activities, this is your opportunity. Writers will cover recent school events, upcoming parties, and highlight the accomplishments of fellow students while also writing about more interesting topics through research and interviewing. - Editors (2): Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar are essential for this role. Editors will ensure that the content is accurate, polished, and ready for publication. - Researchers & Interviewers (2-3): If you enjoy exploring stories and engaging with people, this is the role for you. Researchers and interviewers will gather information for in-depth articles and feature interviews with students and staff. - Photographers (1): We need a talented photographer to capture key moments at school events to bring life and visual interest to each edition. Our team meets every two weeks to collaborate and plan upcoming issues. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the heart of school life, while also building valuable skills in writing, editing, design, and teamwork. Your contributions will keep the student body informed and engaged with everything happening around BG. Additionally, by joining the newsletter team, you’ll be able to log creativity and service hours for your CAS requirements, making it both a rewarding and productive experience.
